The Cedros III Housing Complex, currently under construction in Santo António, will provide 53 controlled-cost homes.

The project, managed by Socicorreia, includes the construction of T1, T2, and T3 apartments, with a total investment of 10.2 million euros.

Speaking to journalists during a visit to the site alongside Miguel Albuquerque, the Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructure mentioned that the government is still working on the criteria for allocating controlled-cost housing in the region.

Pedro Fino believes that the first houses will be delivered starting from December, and by the first half of 2024, a total of 600 homes will be handed over across all municipalities.

The Cedros III Housing Complex is one of the 17 approved lots in the public acquisition offer launched by IHM at the end of 2021 as part of the PRR.
